The RODA Group signs a strategic alliance with DEXELANCE

RODA Group announces the signing of a letter of intent with Dexelance S.p.A., a leading listed industrial group active in high-end design, lighting and furnishings, aimed at establishing a strategic partnership through Dexelance’s entry into RODA’s share capital.

The agreement, which initially involves a minority stake acquired through a mix of share purchase and capital increase, is designed to support new investments and launch a new phase of growth for the RODA Group. A second phase will follow, in which Dexelance will acquire a majority stake by exercising specific purchase and sale options. The closing of the transaction is expected by mid-May, subject to the successful completion of the ongoing due diligence and the usual approvals.

This partnership marks a significant strategic step for RODA, with the goal of strengthening its leadership in the luxury outdoor sector and further expanding its international presence. RODA’s governance and identity will remain unchanged, with the Pompa family continuing to lead the company.

As Daniele Pompa, CEO of RODA, states:
“We are thrilled to start this partnership with Dexelance. Their experience and support will allow us to accelerate our global expansion and consolidate our position as a leader in luxury outdoor furniture.”

The shared vision between the two companies will see RODA taking on the leadership role in Dexelance’s future investments in the outdoor segment, contributing its unique know-how, production capabilities – including the Bodio Lomnago facility – and a well-established distribution network. The partnership will enable the development of synergies with other complementary businesses within a still fragmented value chain, following a systemic and integrated logic.

As Chairman Roberto Pompa noted during the announcement: “If until now we were playing in Serie A, from now on we’ll be playing in the Champions League.” The statement underscores the scale and ambition of the agreement, which aims to generate a significant boost in investment and open up new growth and revenue opportunities.

Dexelance, which closed 2024 with over €300 million in revenues – around 75% of which generated abroad – adds to its portfolio a leading brand with a global reputation for design, elegance and innovation in the outdoor living space.
